Jon Jones tarnished one of the most-hyped events in UFC history by failing a drug test, and now Mark Hunt vs Brock Lesnar is on track to be the main event.

But nothing is set in stone, and a surprise could be in the cards.

There’s a lot of talk about whether or not Anderson Silva could step in to fight Daniel Cormier. Silva took to Instagram on Thursday and posted the following photo, hinting that he’ll be fighting at UFC 200.

It’s possible that Silva is sending a message to the UFC that he’s ready to fight, and it’s also possible that the two have already come to an agreement. We’ll soon find out. Silva posted a lengthy caption to go along with the photo in Portuguese, and using Google Translate, here’s how it reads in English:

“It pays to be a winner? Maybe, maybe not. Obviously everything has a shelf life . The improvement requires self -awareness to know when to speed up their efforts and when to just park them . But here in MUAY THAI COLLEGE In the train until it is impossible to go wrong. And we never parked , because life is like water, if you stop it rots Is a tip !! Vegas here we come.”

This has sparked plenty of speculation obviously. Combate is already reporting that Silva will step in to fight Cormier. Larry Brown Sports notes that Michael Bisping and Donald Cerrone have been mentioned as possible replacements for Jones as well.

Silva was scheduled to fight back in May but had to go undergo gall bladder surgery. This would make for one hell of a story if it happens, and judging by how the UFC promotes fights, it certainly could. It may not necessarily make for the best fight, but it’s what the fans will want to see, and Dana White is a man of the people.
