New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick treats the media in a similar manner that Gregg Popovich does. He often gives short, cryptic answers, not revealing much. And don’t you dare ask a question that he doesn’t like/attempt to troll him.
So when one reporter asked if Jimmy Garoppolo could remain the starter after Tom Brady is eligible to return from suspension in Week 5, obviously, that didn’t go over too well.
The reporter then asked “what if Jimmy plays better?”
Belichick didn’t even play into it, saying “Look, I told you what’s going to happen.”
