It has been speculated that NFL referee Sarah Thomas would be subject to various forms of scrutiny from players and coaches, and she was already put to the test during Sunday’s Eagles-Patriots game.
For some reason, Patriots head coach Bill Belichick thought it was OK to put both of his hands on Thomas’ shoulders during a discussion.
Not a smart move by the Patriots coach, who may be hearing from the league office about it. Props to Thomas for taking the high road and handling it well.
