Green Bay Packers teammates B.J. Raji and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix got into it on the sideline during Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers.
It was a tough day for the Packers’ defense, and the unit had already given up 37 points through three-and-a-half quarters to Cam Newton and the Panthers, so it’s no wonder why the two defenders were frustrated.
The altercation started after Devin Funchess capped off a Panthers drive with a touchdown. Clinton-Dix went to talk to Julius Peppers, who was seated on the bench, after the drive. Peppers then stood up, and the two had some words.
Raji wasn’t a fan of what Clinton-Dix was saying, so he got in the middle of the two defenders and shoved the Packers safety.
Clinton-Dix took the hint and backed off afterward, and the altercation ended as quickly as it started. But maybe that’s exactly what the Packers’ defense needs to get fired up, as the unit has really struggled in the team’s last three games.
