Toronto Blue Jays first baseman Jose Bautista hit a three-run homer in the seventh inning of Wednesday night’s Game 5 of the AL Division Series which caused Rogers Centre to explode with energy. It gave the Jays a 6-3 lead, and was the boost the team needed to defeat the Texas Rangers and advance to the AL Championship Series.
It had been 22 years since the team last qualified for the playoffs, and fans had waited a long time to cheer their team on in an October game that actually mattered. So when the Jays emerged victorious on Wednesday night, they celebrated appropriately.
One fan took things to the next level, though, and he got a tattoo of Bautista’s epic bat flip which followed his three-run bomb in the game.
