Bryce Harper was ejected in the ninth inning of Monday’s game against the Tigers, and clearly wasn’t happy about it.
Harper argued with umpire Brian Knight after Danny Espinosa struck out looking, and was ejected as a result. But that wasn’t the end of it.
After Clint Robinson hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Nats a 5-4 win, his teammates, Harper included, met at home plate to celebrate. Harper then had some words for Knight, as it sure looked like he said the following three words:
“F- you, ump!”

Harper spoke to the media after the game and confirmed he was yelling at Knight.
“I was pretty upset…I let him hear what I had to say, let him hear it again and you know, so what?”-Bryce Harper on yelling at ump tonight

The Nationals slugger flashed his bad boy side on Monday, roughly 24 hours after he gave a jar of money to a homeless woman in Chicago. We’ll call this sequence of events a tale of two Harpers.
