National League MVP Bryce Harper went on SportsCenter on Thursday night to discuss winning the prestigious award with Scott Van Pelt.
When asked about whether he’d rather have a season in which he hits less than 10 home runs or be devoid of hair like Van Pelt, Harper was reluctant to answer the question.
After some hesitation, he finally weighed in, but said he was a bit reserved because he didn’t want memes of him as a bald man circulating on social media.
Except he had no idea how to properly pronounce “meme.” It sounded like he called it a “may-may.”
Bryce Harper's pronunciation of "memes" is going to wreak havoc on twitter (h/t @byjanehammond) https://t.co/0PPCo76EkT
