Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton had a laugh and then gave props when a girl swatted his feeble attempt at a spike while playing volleyball over the weekend.
Newton, obviously, being the celebrity he is, stuck out a bit, so the girl clearly wanted to send a message by besting him at the net.
Sure enough, she did. Check out this textbook block.
Cam was all smiles afterward after the girl’s block drew a plethora of laughs, and he gave her some dap.
The caption that accompanied the photo reads as follows:
“Cam go home you can’t play volleyball you just got blocked by a girl! @lg.rugby13 Haha jk”
No word on whether or not this shot to the gut will affect Cam’s mindset heading into training camp. We’re going to go with ‘no.’
