New York Knicks superstar Carmelo Anthony has a lot of fans, of all ages. This is understandable, given that before Kristaps Porzingis was drafted, the team really didn’t have any playmakers outside of Melo.

One young hoops fan at the Smoothie King Center must’ve really liked Melo, because he sprinted onto the floor during Monday night’s game against the Pelicans to give his favorite player a big hug.

Melo was surprised at first, but once he realized it was just a young admirer, rather than a foe, he embraced the moment and gave the young kid his five seconds of fame.
