Inside the NBA analyst Charles Barkley comes on The Dan Patrick Show pretty regularly to talk hoops, and he’s always got something to say when he does.

On Wednesday’s show, Barkley said the Oklahoma City Thunder is the NBA’s deepest and most talented team, and that Oklahoma City is the only team talented enough to beat the Golden State Warriors.

Next Saturday, we’ll see if what Barkley said is true. The Warriors host the Thunder on Feb. 6 in the first meeting this season between Golden State and Oklahoma City. The Warriors have crushed two of the top four teams in the league standings so far.

They beat the Cleveland Cavaliers by 34 and the San Antonio Spurs by 20. Oklahoma City hasn’t lost by more than 15 this season, and that was without Kevin Durant in the lineup.

Barkley may be right when he says Oklahoma City has the most talented team, though. The Warriors have arguably the best player in Stephen Curry, but the duo of Durant and Russell Westbrook is unrivaled in the NBA. They’re two of the best players on one team, but they haven’t been able to deliver Oklahoma City a championship.

Talented, yes. But the Thunder still have to prove they can go deep into the postseason and win it all with that talent.
