Baltimore Orioles slugger Chris Davis possesses some serious power and has crushed 41 home runs and produced 104 RBIs so far this season.
So when he’s preparing to take his anger out on something, it’s best to back away and let him vent.
Davis was upset after getting hit by a Franklin Morales pitch in the eighth inning of Friday night’s game against the Kansas City Royals, with the Orioles leading 9-6.
So he smashed his bat on the ground near home plate—and destroyed it.
Orioles manager Buck Showalter was none too pleased that Morales wasn’t ejected, so he stood at first base and later got in an umpire’s face to give him a piece of his mind.
Showalter was eventually ejected for arguing and voicing his displeasure about Morales.
That video clip almost makes you feel bad for the bat.
