Seattle Seahawks defensive end Cliff Avril isn’t the type of player that will just sit idle and remain quiet after opposing players attempt to get one over on him. No, Avril is the type of guy that gets his revenge.

That’s exactly what happened to St. Louis Rams punter Johnny Hekker, who came up behind Avril toward the end of one particular play in Sunday’s game and shoved him when the pass rusher’s back was turned.

When Avril got up to chase him down, Hekker curled up like a coward.

Avril responded perfectly to Hekker’s act of cowardice by scaring the hell out of him just a few players later. Hekker punted the ball and shied away from Avril and teammate Michael Bennett, who made it look like they were going to destroy him. The Rams punter was so scared that he ended up just going down to the ground and sitting there.

There’s a lesson to be learned here: Don’t dish it out if you can’t take it.
