We’ve long suspected Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers of capabilities in some classification of wizardry.
Now, we have photographic proof. But he’s no wizard. He’s actually a Jedi, trained in the mystical energies of the Force.
Actress Olivia Munn, Rodgers’ girlfriend of over a year, posted this Star Wars themed picture on Instagram on Friday:
The two are having some fun with the looming release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which premieres a week from today.
But if any NFL player could be suspected of being Force-sensitive, it’s probably Rodgers.
The Packers quarterback is an assassin inside the pocket, a magician in terms of escaping trouble and a wizard capable of creating big plays out of thin air. His powers hit a new height last Thursday night, when he likely used the Force to throw the perfect Hail Mary to beat the Detroit Lions.
The Packers host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
