If what happened at Wednesday’s pre-fight press conference is any indication of what we can expect at UFC 202, then the upcoming rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz should be a great one.
McGregor showed up late to the press conference, and it’s unclear why at this time. Diaz, however, was on time, but rolled up with an entourage comprised of roughly 15 people, many of them wearing black shirts.
And things got heated pretty quickly.
At one point, when McGregor was talking about whether or not there could be a third fight in the works after this one, Diaz decided he had had enough. He stood up and headed toward the exit, flipping off McGregor in the process.
McGregor angrily told Diaz and his entourage to shut up and leave, with some NSFW language, which you can see in the video. And that’s when all hell broke loose. A shouting match erupted, water bottles were thrown and even a few cans of Monster Energy (tossed by McGregor) went flying as well.
Here’s how it all unfolded.
Well then… #UFC202 https://t.co/1J9vJKHUIW
