Jake Arrieta pitched an absolute gem as the Cubs blanked the Pirates 4-0 on Wednesday night in the NL Wild Card Game. The Cubs will take on the Cardinals in the NL Divisional Series on Friday, and the sky is the limit for them as they are riding a ton of momentum.
Cubs fans haven’t seen their team in the postseason since 2008, so they were pretty excited after the big win. By that, we mean they packed the streets of Wrigleyville and celebrated as if they had won the World Series.
It started as soon as the team recorded the final out at PNC Park.

It’s hard to remember that the Cubs only won a wild-card game, judging by how many people were out celebrating.
