To label Curt Schilling as “polarizing” would be an understatement.

Seriously, dude has become the Webster’s Dictionary definition of “like him” or “hate him”…which is why, I’d have to think, the Howie Carr Radio Network agreed to bring the controversial World Champ on as a talk show host.

“We strongly believe that Curt Schilling is the answer to the nagging question of ‘who’s next?’ in the business,” operations manager Jared Goodell said. “Curt brings spirited, educated and level-headed conversations to the table and is passionate about talking with the listeners.”

“This is a great beginning for what we hope will be a star-studded lineup on the Howie Carr Radio Network,” Carr added. “Curt has proven to be a stand-up guy and he is going to be a great radio talk show host.”

You know, provided you agree with him.

The should-be Hall of Famer has had countless run-ins with people on social media on a variety of different subjects. Schilling’s “outspoken” personality has even cost him employment. In August 2015, the former pitcher was suspended from ESPN after posting a Twitter meme comparing Muslims to Nazis. In April, he was let go completely after upsetting sharing a post on Facebook that the sports network viewed as anti-transgender.

“The Curt Schilling Show” launches in syndication September 10 and truth be told…I can’t wait to hear what he has to say.
