Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant draw some criticism on social media when a video showing him dropping footballs from a JUGS machine went viral. The Vine is on its way to 1 million loops and got plenty of exposure.
Here’s what it looked like.

Bryant, though, explained why the drill was more difficult that particular go-around. Apparently, he was challenging himself, and set the speed level as high as possible, which is what he informed Mike Fisher of 103.5 The Fan.
”But what (Bleacher Report’s) dumba– don’t understand is the speed level was sky-high,” he said. “About 60. (And five yards away from the JUGS machine instead of a slower speed from 10 yards). Everybody can do it with concentration. If it was set on the regular level I woulda caught all of ‘em.
“But that’s not the purpose of the drill. But I guess before their dumba– decides — you can write ‘dumba–’ three times — before they decide they want to make a joke, they need to get all the facts before they come after somebody.’’
That makes sense, as Dez seems to always be trying to raise the bar to challenge himself. He’s clearly not happy with B/R for sharing that video, though. But that’s the world we live in today.
