The 2016 presidential election is still months away, but former NFL’er Michael Sam has already made up his mind, it seems, and he certainly won’t be voting for Donald Trump.
Trump recently commented on the kiss that Sam received from his boyfriend after being drafted in 2014, calling it “inappropriate” and saying that “this country is going to hell.” Obviously, Sam was going to respond at some point.
TMZ Sports tracked him down, and sure enough, he did. Sam called trump an “assh–e” and urged the LGBT community to vote for Hilary Clinton in November.
Sam is currently a free agent, so it’s unlikely that we’ll be seeing much more of him in the near future, but his words likely echo how the LGBT community feels about Trump.
