Kristaps Porzingis has made a habit of throwing down dunks over opposing big men this season, but he got a taste of his own medicine in Sunday night’s game against the Rockets, courtesy of Dwight Howard.
Howard has been criticized in the past for being “soft,” just ask Kobe Bryant, but he showed he was anything but that in overtime of Sunday night’s game.
Marcus Thornton threw Howard a lob, and the Rockets big man did the rest. He elevated and timed his jump perfectly to snag the ball and throw it down over Porzingis with authority.
Not only did he finish off the alley oop, but he also drew a foul on Porzingis as well.
