When Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said the team’s powerful, downhill-running back needed to lose weight, Eddie Lacy certainly listened to him.

He’s been working out with P90X founder Tony Horton since the offseason began, and it’s clear he’s been hitting it hard.

The results speak for themselves.

Lacy was listed as having weighed 242 pounds during training camp last season, and may have even eclipsed that late in the year. Here’s a picture of him earlier in the month, though, which shows a slimmer version of the Packers running back.

And now there’s this photo which recently surfaced. It’s hard to recognize him, even.

Whatever Lacy’s eating and however he’s approaching his workout regimen seems to be working. We’ll see if his yards per carry goes up from the lackluster 4.1 mark he set last season.
