Massive flooding in Houston might have been enough to cancel the first day of the Texans’ offseason workouts, but the pouring rain and standing water couldn’t keep defensive end J.J. Watt from getting to the team’s facility.

Watt provided photographic evidence of his arrival, via Snapchat:

The majority of the city has been shut down due to the rain and resulting flooding. The Texans decided to close their facility and postpone the start of offseason workouts, but nothing—especially just a little precipitation—can stop Watt.

The former Wisconsin star is a four-time first-team All-Pro, three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and two-time NFL sack leader. He is the only player in NFL history to record two seasons with 20 or more sacks, and he’s already set the Texans franchise record for sacks with 74.5 in just five seasons.

You don’t become the most feared defensive player in a generation by skipping workouts because of a little rain. Or some football cliche along those lines.
