Bulls legend Scottie Pippen said last Saturday that he believes the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls would have swept the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors in a seven-game playoff series.

Horace Grant, who won three championships with the Bulls, took it a step further.

“I say any of the six championship teams would have swept them,” Grant said on SportsNet Central on Wednesday. “We had a comradery and we trusted each other, especially on defense. We had this love of getting our opponents down and stepping on their necks and getting rest. I think that’s what Golden State is missing right now in terms of their defense.”

The Warrior need to win their final four games to eclipse the NBA-wins record set by the ’96 Bulls. They play the San Antonio Spurs twice and the Memphis Grizzlies twice. Golden State suffered an unexpected loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night, the team’s second loss in three games.
