Isaiah Thomas dropped 28 points in the Celtics’ 104-95 win over the Hawks on Sunday. He was hot heading into the game, coming off a 42-point performance in Game 3, and has been the driving force behind the team being able to even the series at two games apiece.
And apparently, having a big game entitles you to bring your kids to the postgame press conference. We all remember when Stephen Curry brought his daughter, Riley, to the podium last season after Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals.
Like Riley, Thomas’ sons, James and Jaden, said exactly what was on their mind.
“Isaiah’s the greatest basketball player,” James said.

Jaden thanked reporters for coming out, and that was the end of that. But it was great to see them get their five seconds of fame, and the media seemed to enjoy a good laugh about the whole thing.
