St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher mixed things up a bit before Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins.

He elected to send out a different group of captains for the coin toss. The move seemed harmless at the time, but was actually an excellent display of next-level trolling.

The captains he chose were the six active players the team acquired with draft picks from the 2012 trade between the two teams. The Redskins traded the house for the Rams’ No. 2 overall draft pick—giving up three first-round picks, as well as a second-rounderwhich they used to draft quarterback Robert Griffin III.

It’s fun to talk about Fisher’s clever troll job. But it’s even more fun to watch it.

Ironically, Griffin ended up playing in Sunday’s game. He entered late in the fourth quarter after Colt McCoy exited with a neck strain. The fans at FedExField—who at one point chanted “We want RG3!”—got what they asked for. Griffin closed out the game by completing three of four passes for 33 yards on the final drive.

All in all, it was a good day for the Rams. They won the RGIII trade, and made sure to boast about it on the Redskins’ home field by sending the trade haul out for the coin toss. And, most importantly, they shut out their opponent and came away with a 24-0 victory.
