There are certain foods that nutritionists believe can lead to a better quality of life if eaten every day, many of them being fruits and vegetables.
Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh, when it comes to nutrition, has a bit of a different take. Instead, he relies on what he believes are four natural steroids for all his dietary needs.
“I truly believe the No. 1 natural steroid is sleep and the No. 2 natural steroid is milk, whole milk,” Harbaugh said, via mlive.com. “Three would be water. Four would be steak.”
Eating copious amounts of red meat probably wouldn’t work for many people, but it gets the job done for Harbaugh. In fact, he eats it every day.
“I take a vitamin every day,” Harbaugh said. “It’s called a steak.”
So there you have it, kids. If you want to grow up to be big, strong and successful like Harbaugh, start stocking up on steak and milk.
