A handful of reporters learned a lesson the hard way on Monday: Don’t ask Michigan head football coach Jim Harbaugh too many follow-up questions.
When asked about why three members of the football team weren’t in the team photo during a media session on Monday, Harbaugh revealed that true freshman Ahmir Mitchell and redshirt freshman Shelton Johnson had been suspended. After a follow-up question was asked, Harbaugh seemed to be a bit irritated and gave an answer that would make Bill Belichick proud.
“We’ll handle that internally,” he said.
A reporter then asked how long the players would be out for, and that’s when Harbaugh went off.
“That’s why I don’t give you any information cause you’re never satisfied,” he said. “You want a second question, a third question, a fourth question. I just said we’d handle it internally. Thank you.”
And then he walked out, which marked the end of that particular press conference.
