If franchise-tagged Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins had his way, a certain fast-food franchise would be more conveniently located.
CSN Mid-Atlantic had Cousins mic’d up during Tuesday’s practice, and the quarterback basically did a free commercial for Cook Out. What Cousins really likes is that they give you two sides, not just one.
“It sets them apart,” Cousins said.
The problem is that according to Cousins, Fredericksburg, Virginia is the northernmost location. That’s about an hour away from Washington.
During practice, Cousins brought up the possibility of he and some teammates teaming up to bring a Cook Out to nearby Ashburn.
Maybe Cousins should wait at least a year before doing that. He has to prove this season that he’s worthy of a long-term deal, and if he eats too much Cook Out he’ll be out of shape.
