Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson scored 37 points in the third quarter of Friday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings. He literally could not miss—knocking down 13 of 13 field goals in the quarter—and he set a new NBA record for points in a quarter.

The shot chart for Thompson’s record-setting performance screams “perfection.”

Everyone in attendance at the Staples Center seemed to enjoy themselves. Reggie Jackson, for instance, did Johnny Manziel’s money gesture to congratulate Thompson on his performance midway through the fourth quarter.

Teammate Stephen Curry also had a great reaction to Thompson’s 37-point quarter while seated on the bench. It’s hard to discern if he was laughing about the Kings’ lack of defense—or what—but whatever the two were discussing seemed to be quite funny.

The Warriors enjoyed a comfortable 126-101 win—jumping out to an early lead in the first quarter and blowing the doors off the game in the third.

And Thompson was the hero on the evening—dropping a career-high 52 points on a 16-of-25 shooting performance. He turned in a surreal effort that even former NBA sharpshooters Reggie Miller, Michael Jordan and Larry Bird would likely applaud.
