James Harden will never learn.

After watching Stephen Curry snatch the MVP award from his grasp last season, you’d have thought Harden would understand that forces greater than himself were in play during the voting process. Yes, we’re talking about the curse that rap mogul Lil B put on him.

Lucky for him, Lil B has a heart, and the rapper lifted the curse on Harden back in May after the Rockets superstar had his worst performance of the playoffs in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals. Harden hit just two of 11 shots he attempted and turned the ball over 12 times in the loss to the Warriors, and it was at that point that Lil B thought he had learned his lesson, so he lifted the curse.

But Harden apparently has a short memory, as he took to Instagram on Wednesday and posted this photo, which shows him doing the rapper’s signature cooking move.

Lil B was not happy about the post, and he’s now taking action. He spoke to TMZ shortly after Harden put up the photo and told them he’s putting the curse back on the Rockets superstar.

“The Curse is officially back active,” Lil B said. “It’s disgusting … he’s still in denial … he will pay for the blatant disrespect and no honor to the originator. All he has to do is show love… Harden has gone too far this time.”

This is bad news for Harden. Kevin Durant was smart enough to stay off Lil B’s turf when the rapper put a curse on him back in 2011. But Harden, well, he may now be entering double-curse territory, and who really knows what will happen next? We’ll have to wait and see.
