Dallas’ Mark Cuban has had some good ideas — that’s generally how you get rich — but his most recent one is probably not his best. He wants some conference realignment, which seems alright so far, but then he wants four Western teams and four Eastern teams to switch places.
OK, this is still not a terrible idea until he says he wants all three Texas teams and the Pelicans to switch!
If there are going to be team’s to move over to the East, it’s going to be the Pelicans (like Cuban said) or the Memphis Grizzlies, because Tennessee is actually in the east.
Now, if Cuban wants that many teams to switch over, he can get Seattle and Vancouver, to get teams back and go from there. But the San Antonio Spurs, Rockets, and Mavs in the Eastern Conference?
Does he just want his team to lose to the Spurs in a different conference every year come playoff time? Come on Cuban. Get it together.
