So, it’s come to this in Miami – the Marlins went from giving the Washington Nationals no background music during batting practice on Wednesday to giving them fart sounds.
Yes, fart sounds.
Marlins giving Nats the silent treatment for BP, so Harper brought out Gio's giant speaker to put next to the cage.

Nationals played elevator music when Marlins took BP in DC. Nats are getting silence in return during BP at marlins park

Now not only are the Marlins not playing music during Nats BP, loud fart noises are coming through the speakers. I swear, I'm not kidding.

There are now — well, fart noises — coming out of Marlins Park speakers intermittenly. So it's come to this. @masnKolko first.

I would imagine this is payback for the Nationals playing soft rock during the visiting team’s batting practice at Nationals Park…
…but really, fart noises? C’mon man. I guess this is what happens when Miami’s latest salary dump goes awry…
Now hearing the trade is far from complete. Sources telling me it could be falling apart. Total confusion. #marlins

It’s not a great day to be a Miami Marlin.
