Pokemon Go met Beast Mode over the weekend.

Retired NFL running back Marshawn Lynch keeps seeing his names in headlines despite hanging up the cleats, which isn’t a bad thing when one remembers other out-of-league players who won’t go away (ahem, Johnny Manziel).

This time Lynch is in the news because he needed Kansas City Chiefs defensive back Marcus Peters to explain the Pokemon Go app to him.

The video is amazing, to say the least (NSFW language):

Indeed, Lynch just learned how to go catch the “Peekey-man.”

Pokemon Go is the latest craze in mobile gaming and the biggest of its kind in history, so the fact Lynch didn’t know about it despite all this newfound free time on his hands is a tad surprising.

Better late than never. Now Lynch has something to do, and something tells us this is the first of many stories about Beast Mode and Pokemon, which is nothing short of awesome.
