Lionel Messi has a history of making his opponents look silly.
It was Carlos Lampe’s turn on Tuesday night when Argentina and Bolivia squared off in the Copa America Centenario. Messi received a pass and played the ball right through Lampe’s legs, perfectly, and kept dribbling, which would’ve led to a surefire goal.
Bolivia lucked out, though, as Messi was ruled offside. Even though it didn’t lead to a goal, it’s still fun to watch over and over.
That poor goalkeeper got embarrassed, and Argentina emerged victorious 3-0. They’ll play Venezuela in the quarterfinal round on Saturday, and tickets are on sale now.
