Remember a couple of years ago when Mike Trout won back-to-back All-Star Game MVPs and with them…a pair of vehicles?

Turns out, he’s going need one.

Wednesday night, following a 3-0 win over the Cincinnati Reds, the Los Angeles Angels superstar was involved in an accident that injured another motorist south of Anaheim. According to police reports, the accident happened when Trout’s car and two others collided while attempting to stop for an already existing crash.

The 2014 American League MVP was uninjured in the crash.

“I have spoken with Mike this evening and he feels fine,” Angels General Manager Billy Eppler said . “He is at home with his roommate and is planning on traveling with the club to Seattle tomorrow afternoon. We will update as more information becomes available.”
