Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov can be classified as a hands-on owner.

The billionaire Russian oligarch is not only heavily involved in the team’s day-to-day operations, but he also makes sure the Nets players are training hard, apparently.

The Nets finished the 2014-15 season with an underwhelming 38-44 record, and Prokhorov wants to make sure they take the necessary steps to improve.

As such, he showed up to training camp on Wednesday, and when practice was winding down, he participated in some sort of circus workout with the Nets players. The exercises he showed them were not the traditional ones we’re used to seeing, that’s for sure.

Not too many owners would do push-ups with a stick pressed on top of a basketball, but Prokhorov did.

He also dribbled a basketball while attempting to balance on another basketball.

Prokhorov also dribbled a basketball while simultaneously bouncing another basketball off the wall.

The Nets players tried some of Prokhorov’s exercises as well, but weren’t quite as good as he was.

That was some next-level stuff from the Nets owner. Now, let’s see if the team’s record improves this season as a result.
