It has been a magical year for the Toronto Blue Jays. The team clinched their first division title since 1993 and is peaking at the right time heading into the postseason.

The Jays demolished the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday 15-2 and won the AL East title. With a record of 92-66, the team has a great chance to have home-field advantage leading up to the World Series.

Players and coaches did what you’re supposed to do after clinching a division title—they celebrated.

Bottles were popped in the locker room, and Munenori Kawasaki seemed to be the life of the party. Kawasaki was interviewed by Sportsnet’s Barry Davis at one point, and he talked about bananas, champagne and other things.

Kawasaki made a point to say how drunk he was, multiple times. Toward the end of the interview, he even asked Davis to ask him questions in Japanese because he was too drunk to answer them in English.

Kawasaki also took a dip in the ice tub at one point, because that’s what you do while celebrating.

It’s safe to say that Kawasaki (and the Blue Jays) won the day.
