At first glance, it appeared that Ndamukong Suh was up to his old tricks again in Sunday’s game against the New York Jets. But after further review, it looks like the Dolphins defensive tackle may deserve the benefit of the doubt this time.
Suh has a history of getting involved in extracurricular activities on the field after the play is over. He stepped on Aaron Rodgers’ injured ankle, ripped off Jay Cutler’s helmet and kicked Alfred Morris’ helmet off his head.
Because of his issues in the past, we tend to put Suh under the microscope often, and that’s what happened regarding one play in question during Sunday’s game.
Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick dove out of bounds in an attempt to pick up an extra yard or two, and Suh swung his leg and kicked Fitzpatrick in the head.
Intentional or no? We’re gonna give Suh the benefit of the doubt this time, but you be the judge.
