He didn’t have the flu like Michael Jordan, but Steph Curry’s incredible 40-point performance after returning from injury was the stuff of legend.

Curry, who had played just 38 minutes in three weeks leading up to Monday night’s game, went absolutely nuts and dropped 17 points in overtime (an NBA record). He was draining threes from all over the court, and made some sick dishes to hook up his teammates as well.

Like this three-pointer for example, on which he pulled up from roughly 30 feet out and daggered the Blazers in the final two minutes of overtime. Curry even had some words for the crowd at the Moda Center as well.

“I am here, I am back!”

The reaction from Blazers owner Paul Allen said it all. He was quite shocked.

Pretty damn good for a guy who came off the bench and was on a minutes restriction heading into the game.
