Monday’s game between the Philadelphia Phillies and Miami Marlins avoided disaster thanks to the keen reflexes of one Phillies fan.
Freddy Galvis smashed a ball into the stands, and in hindsight, it could have done some pretty serious damage had a fan not been paying attention:

According to MLB.com’s Adrian Garro, the now-Internet famous duo are Dennis and Louise Pollock. Thanks to Dennis’ reflexes, a night at the ballpark swung the pendulum into “never forget” territory and gave us all a highlight of the season.
Good thing he wasn’t checking his cell phone and had his head in the game.
