Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the South Exit of the Moda Center during Thursday night’s Pacers-Trail Blazers game.

The demonstrators marched through downtown Portland and then made their way to the Moda Center. They were rallying against the decisions made by grand juries in Ferguson and New York City. Both decided against indicting the police officers who were involved in the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner.

It all began at Pioneer Square.

Protesters then made their way to a MAX station near the Moda Center.

They then arrived at the Moda Center.

…And were greeted by a strong police presence.

But that didn’t stop them from gathering.

And they’re still going strong. Plenty of “Hands up, don’t shoot” chants can be heard.
