The Miami Dolphins fired head coach Joe Philbin on Monday, and the 2015 season may already be a wash. But the good news is that Rick Ross is still interested in being a part-owner of the team.
Ross, who owns a home in Miami and has a Heat tattoo on his face, told TMZ Sports he applauds the Dolphins for firing Joe Philbin and still wants to own five percent of the team.
If Ross were to become part-owner, he would join the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Venus Williams, Serena Williams, Marc Anthony, Jimmy Buffett and Gloria Estefan, who all own a small portion of the Dolphins.
Ross has also remained optimistic about the state of the team. He believes the season will “go a lot better than it was.”
We stand behind Ross. He’s certainly as qualified as J. Lo, and would likely make the gameday experience more enjoyable for fans.
