Cleveland Browns quarterback Robert Griffin III is finally humbling himself by learning the fundamentals, in hopes of becoming a more complete player.
Tuesday he worked on throwing the ball away, something that quarterbacks usually learn at a young age.
#Browns Robert Griffin had run stopped so wisely threw away. Sailed over fence and hit neighbor's garage.

RG3 was so concerned with whether or not the ball went over the fence that he asked a teammate. When he learned that it did, he was super pumped about it and reacted as such.
RG3 throwaway went over fence & hit neighbor's garage. RG3 asked teammate if ball made it over. When told it did, RG3 said yes & pumped fist

But it’s not the first time he’s thrown a ball over the fence! However, it was the first time he hit the garage. Last time it was a tree that got drilled.
A first for many of us grizzled hacks: Robert Griffin III threw a ball away and it soared over a 15-foot fence…. https://t.co/61Du59SSxH

Not trying to read too much into this, but RG3 continues to get caught up in his own achievements, rather than looking at the bigger picture. This is no big deal, sure, but any other quarterback would’ve just thrown the damn ball over the fence and then snapped the ball to get as many reps as possible during practice.
