Russell Westbrook signed a three-year, $85 million deal to remain with the Thunder, a deal that was officially announced during a media session on Thursday.
Westbrook, of course, was asked about Kevin Durant’s departure for the Warriors, which he probably expected. But when the question was asked, Westbrook acted like he didn’t even know Durant.
“Did Durant leaving for the Warriors sting?” the reporter asked.
Westbrook’s response was great:
“Sting for who?” he calmly remarked with a smile.
It seems clear that Westbrook is ready to move on and focus on life after Durant.
