From the “what do you get the guy who has everything” department…comes this find.
That’s right, for a cool $100K, you your friend could be the proud owner of, no, not Jose Canseco’s 1989 World Series ring, but, rather, the former MVP’s American League Championship ring from the year before.
Did you even know they made such things? I didn’t. And get this, this one comes with, according to the listing, a letter of authenticity “signed personally” by Canseco.
But hold on…there’s a catch. And it’s a huge one.
“The ring is real (but) the signature is not Jose’s,” Canseco’s fiancée Leila Knight told The Hall. “The ring is the only one and very expensive…but maybe not quite 100k.”
Yikes. Think the price is a little steep? Might I point you in the direction of free shipping?!?
