Scoring 15 points in 44 seconds was how the Seattle Seahawks were able to pull off what seemed nearly impossible midway through the fourth quarter of the NFC Championship game. The Green Bay Packers played it conservative in the second half, as they clung to a 19-7 lead.

The Seahawks were plagued by turnovers in the first half, but as the game progressed, QB Russell Wilson seemed to gain confidence and eventually got into a rhythm. And midway through the fourth quarter, he caught fire and began playing at an MVP level. He literally could not miss, especially on the final two completions of the game—to Doug Baldwin and Jermaine Kearse—both of which were thrown with pinpoint accuracy into tight windows.

But the catalyst was the trick play the Seahawks pulled off to perfection in the third quarter, when they scored their first points of the game on a fake field goal.

Punter Jon Ryan, who was in charge of holding the ball for kicker Steven Hauschka, took the snap and ran with it. He rolled left and made a pretty nice throw across his body to offensive lineman Garry Gilliam.

The result was a fat guy touchdown, as the 302-pounder had his moment. And we all love fat guy touchdowns.

The Seahawks used the big play to take back a bit of the Packers’ momentum. It was key during what was one of the biggest comebacks in NFL postseason history. What a game. And what a finish (judging by this KearseQuake).
