The Seton Hall Pirates lost again on Monday night, 80-54, to the Villanova Wildcats. The team is in a major funk right now, having dropped eight of their last 10 games.

And the frustration really boiled over late in the second half of Monday’s game, when members of both teams were battling for a loose ball. That’s when Pirates guard Sterling Gibbs used his forearm and delivered a cheap shot to the face of Villanova’s Ryan Arcidiacono.

Gibbs was ejected, and he could be hit with a multiple-game suspension for the blow to Arcidiacono’s face. He did apologize to Arcidiacono on Twitter after the game, though.
