Northern Iowa fans aren’t too happy with Skip Bayless right now.
The First Take co-host sent an ill-advised tweet during the team’s game against Texas A&M, before it was over, which is a no-no. But Bayless doesn’t care, because he’s more interested in generating a reaction from the public than being fair and balanced.
The Aggies pulled off the greatest and most improbable comeback in NCAA history, as they trailed by 12 points with 35 seconds left and managed to force overtime. They later went on to win in double overtime.
Bayless, though, had left them for dead when they were trailing. Check out this dumb tweet he sent.
Down goes my longshot Final Four pick – and President Obama’s. Down goes A&M. Northern Iowa is so much better than I thought. March Badness.

He later showed up after the game, to explain his earlier tweet, with caps lock on, of course.
I SWEAR I TURNED OFF A&M GAME WHEN THEY WERE DOWN 10 W/ 30 SECS LEFT. I (HAPPILY) MISSED WHAT HAD TO BE GREATEST COMEBACK IN MADNESS HISTORY

Gig ’em, indeed. Bayless loses again. It’s unfathomable that he has a high-paying job in sports media.
As you might imagine, his mentions have been blowing up, and deservedly so.
