Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry makes the impossible look easy nearly every time he steps foot on the court.
Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers was no different, when four defenders could not stop him.
The Warriors took a seven-point lead into the half, and it was clear that the Clippers’ plan to cut into their opponent’s lead was to limit Curry’s production. At one point early in the third quarter, four Clippers defenders converged on him and it seemed like he was clearly trapped.
Curry then put on a ball-handling clinic and managed to dribble through all of them to buy himself some space—going behind his back to deny Chris Paul of a steal in the process. All four defenders attempted to strip the ball, but none of them succeeded. Curry then got himself enough room to attempt a step-back three-pointer, and he drilled it.
Warriors head coach Steve Kerr had a great reaction following Curry’s magicianlike play.
The Warriors won the game, 106-98. The team is now on a three-game winning streak.
