Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been taken to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion after enduring a late hit in Sunday’s game against the Rams.

Bridgewater slid at the end of a run in the fourth quarter of the game when Rams cornerback Lamarcus Joyner delivered an elbow to his head. The Vikings cornerback was knocked unconscious and later got up to make his way off the field to the locker room.

Joyner was hit with a personal foul for unnecessary roughness, and he’ll likely be hearing from the league office this week. He deserves a fine at the very least for his cheap shot on the Vikings quarterback, who we hope is OK.

Shaun Hill came in to replace Bridgewater as the Vikings’ signal-caller.
