Todd Gurley isn’t so much breaking down the rookie wall today. He’s jumping over it.

Gurley flew into the end zone for this touchdown against the Lions, his first of two TDs so far.

This five-yard run gave the Rams a 21-7 lead over the Lions in the third quarter. Gurley added another one in the fourth quarter to make it 21-7.

After rushing for more than 100 yards in four straight games, Gurley seemed to hit a rookie wall. He fell short of 100 yards in his last five games entering Sunday’s game. He had 118 on his first 14 carries Sunday and he scored his seventh and eighth touchdowns of the season.

Maybe we can call him Air Gurley.
